Julia, our CEO, has lived the challenges of global supply chains from every angle: first as Chief of Staff at Alibaba North America, and then as founder of Multitasky, the lifestyle brand she bootstrapped and scaled into major retailers.
In 2023, Julia teamed up with Mandy, our COO, to reimagine the global supply chain system: What if global manufacturing worked with the speed and simplicity of modern tech platforms?

Julia Xu
CEO and Co-Founder
Julia is a three-time founder and former Chief of Staff at Alibaba North America. She built the financial model that launched Disney+, bootstrapped the lifestyle brand Multitasky. Julia began her entrepreneurial journey at Brown University, where she founded Tink Knit, a social enterprise that has been recognized with McKinsey’s Women’s Impact Award.
Mandy Chow
COO and Co-Founder
Mandy previously led M&A, investments, and strategic initiatives at Airwallex, where she was a also core member of the fundraising team and Capital 49 (Airwallex’s ecosystem VC fund). She began her career in TMT investment banking at Goldman Sachs and holds a B.S. from Wharton.
Frank Luan
AI Scientist and Tech Advisor
Frank Luan brings AI research experience from xAI and Anthropic, as well as engineering expertise from Meta. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley’s Sky Computing Lab after completing his undergrad in CS at UChicago. A former founder of a venture-backed social app, Frank now advises Wayo on AI strategy and product development.
Qiling Zhong
Head of Engineering
Bruce brings startup and big-tech expertise, having led engineering at ByteDance after starting his career at Tencent. He holds a degree in Information & Communication Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a top-10 Chinese engineering university.
Kelly Luc
Marketing Director and Head of Japanese Expansion
Kelly brings creative and content marketing experience from Culture Amp and ValueMomentum. She previously served as a Princeton in Asia Fellow in Tokyo, and was the founding Marketing Director of Tink Knit, Julia’s social venture at Brown University.
Jenny Zhang
Operations and Product Director
Jenny led strategy and operations at Alibaba North America, after roles at OpenSky and Sotheby’s. She holds an M.S. in Intercultural Communication from the University of Pennsylvania.
